Design and produce a magazine as a visitor information source, to be used primarily for visitors once they have arrived in Tees Valley. The publication needed to include vital information such as details on major events, attractions, shopping, leisure activities, places to eat and drink, hotels, B&B’s maps and public transport information.
We created a hand-bag sized events led magazine to allow people to pick it up easily and carry around with them. The content developed for the magazine was visitor-focused and showcased the very best events the area has to offer. The magazine had a 12 month life span, and provided the opportunity for businesses to advertise which also created income generation from the magazine for the area tourism partnership – visitTeesvalley. All design, copywriting and advertising management was carried-out by our project team.
Positive feedback from visitors outside the area that information was easy to access and digest from the magazine. Requests for further magazine’s to be delivered were made from a considerable number of venues/hotels across the area.
